The Okinawa Convention and Visitor's Bureau had not had an Australian journalist or content creator visit in over 12-months.
This presented an opportunity to create both editorial content and video content that showcased the destination in a unique way.
We had just three weeks to organise an itinerary, flights, pre-production and research. We also had to do everything within just five days on the ground.
It was fast, it was furious, but the results speak for themselves.
Working alongside The Walshe Group in Sydney, Drake Content produced over 400 photographs, 13 minutes of b-roll, rights free drone footage and up to 10 video edits for use across major Australian news publications as well as for ogoing usage by the Okinawa Convention and Visitor's Bureau.
Drake Content produced editorial, video and photography that showed the other side of Japan. We looked for the stories and the people that would help showcase Okinawa as a 'Hawaii alternative' with a goal to drive both interest and visitation.
